Precision Soil Carbon Mapping on Agrobrazil Field T6 (156 ha)
On a larger Brazilian field named T6, covering 156 ha, the model MAE dropped from 5.98 g/kg to 2.19 g/kg after one calibration sample and 600 internal analogues, producing a detailed SOC map for better management.
Our breakthrough
The initial 5.98 g/kg error on T6 fell to 2.19 g/kg after local tuning, showing that our calibration approach scales across larger fields with high variability.

How it works
- Baseline modeling: the model is trained on global and Brazilian soil samples and validated against independent lab measurements.
- Field calibration: one representative T6 sample plus 600 internal analogues adapt the model to local conditions.
- Map generation: the final 30 m SOC map shows a median of 8.52 g/kg and highlights variability across the field.
Why it matters
- Scalable accuracy: the method remains useful even on larger parcels.
- Precision management: intervention zones can be identified across the full 156 ha.
- Resource optimization: the map guides fertilizer and amendment decisions to improve yields and control cost.
